Craig Jeruzal is deputy portfolio manager on the SVM UK Opportunities Fund. He is an experienced UK equity analyst and has been with SVM for over 15 years, he previously worked at Kempen Capital Management as a member of their pan-European equity team with company research responsibilities. Craig graduated from Edinburgh University with an MA(Hons) in Politics and is also a CFA Charter holder.

Outside of the office, Craig enjoys nothing more than travelling, particularly to the US. As a self-confessed ‘Yankophile’, he has long had a fascination with US politics and culture. On his journeys, he particularly likes to hunt out the best restaurants and bars each city has to offer. This, combined with an extreme aversion to most forms of physical exercise, has not helped his physique.

When asked what he has learned working alongside Neil, he says, “The most important thing is to recognise and be honest about your flaws and weaknesses. Most people who do this job are more than capable intellectually, but still often succumb to their own biases and prejudices. I know I have and it’s a constant battle against them!”
